NewsWhip announces a new beta program with LinkedIn to provide real-time insights from LinkedIn to journalists. From today, NewsWhip users will be able to spot trends and find story ideas by accessing the most viewed Company Page posts in many work topics on LinkedIn.

NewsWhip’s LinkedIn integration will give users a unique window into what’s happening on the world’s largest professional network. With a global community of more than 985 million professionals and more than 67 million Company Pages, LinkedIn is the platform for work conversations.

There are a number of advantages to having such a view into what’s happening on LinkedIn, and among those is that it allows you to level up your trend spotting on business and work topics, content strategy, and benchmarking.

Trend spotting on LinkedIn [Beta]

LinkedIn reflects what’s happening in the workplace and the trends in the business community, and companies connect on key work topics and communicate the work on everything they’re doing from the day-to-day to big structural decisions.

A simple search within NewsWhip now instantly provides you with a view of the content and Company Pages that are leading the discourse in many work topics. From there, you can see what’s gaining strong engagement in hot topics like AI and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), spot new narratives that are gaining momentum, and stay ahead of  key industry issues. By keeping a finger on the pulse of business and work conversations, you’re able to anticipate and respond to industry shifts as they happen.

Improve your content with LinkedIn monitoring [Beta]

LinkedIn is the Internet’s most active place  for professional conversations, providing plenty of inspiration for those who are looking for inspiration when it comes to content.

With NewsWhip’s integration, you’ll be able to explore the most engaging posts from Company Pages in real time, and pinpoint the companies leading crucial societal and industry dialogues — whether they’re about DEI, sustainability, or the future of tech — every conversation is at your fingertips.

By understanding the narratives that resonate, you can uncover and refine story ideas to craft content that’s not only relevant but also compelling to your audience. For journalists researching any topic, find quotes, video content, and perspectives to embed in your story from the world’s biggest companies.

Benchmarking on LinkedIn [Beta]

In the dynamic media landscape of 2023, it’s crucial to know where you stand among other competitors – and what formats, topics and voices are working for them.

Now, you can benchmark any set of publishers, uncover best practices, and improve your strategy accordingly. Analyze who’s getting it right, which topics are resonating, and ensure your content is not just part of the conversation, but leading it.

By integrating insights from LinkedIn alongside our rich coverage of online news, and native posts from Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, we’re making sure journalists have rich insights across multiple networks, getting complete, timely and actionable intelligence.
