What do the bar graphs mean on Top Communities Leaderboard?

The three colored bars on the Top Communities Leaderboard in your dashboard represent three key metrics by which we assess subreddits.

Green = Number of relevant posts in that subreddit
Pink = Average level of engagement per post
Blue = Total level of engagement with all relevant subreddit posts

Plus, the number on the left column is the number of redditors who are members of that community and follow its content.

How are subreddits ranked on Top Communities Leaderboard?

By default, your Top Communities Leaderboard is sorted by total votes on relevant posts.

You can find further sorting options by using the expanded view. Enter the expanded view by clicking the double arrows icon on the top right. From the expanded view, you can sort by audience size, average interactions, and total interactions by clicking on the column headers.

Can I view all relevant posts from a subreddit on the leaderboard?

You can view all posts on each subreddit by clicking on “View Posts”. This will show the title of each post, ranked by vote count on the post.

Can I compare each subreddit?

You can compare each subreddit by entering the expanded view. Here you can see the top performing subreddit, and each relevant subreddit appears beneath. Each bar represents that subreddit’s performance relative to the most influential subreddit that is top of the leaderboard.

Can I exclude a subreddit from my leaderboard?

In your dashboard view, each subreddit card has a three dot menu. Hover your mouse to show the three dot menu, and click on it. This will give you the option to exclude either the subreddit from your search. This can be useful to clear out any noise or unwanted subreddit that you do not want to see posts from.
