By definition, Facebook analytics tools are digital analytics tools which provide information and insight into the performance of content on Facebook. The best Facebook analytics tools allow users to effectively review how their audience engaged with their their videos, links, statuses and other content on the platform by showing them numerical measurements which provide understanding of how Facebook users responded to individual Facebook posts.

Facebook analytics tools generally provide a breakdown of different metrics based on audience behaviour, such as the number of shares, likes and reactions that a post received, as well as how many comments it attracted. These metrics come from the Facebook API, ensuring consistent engagement measurement.

Users of Facebook Analytics tools use these metrics to make informed decisions about their marketing and communications strategies, by seeing what audiences are responding best to. Often, hey can also benchmark their performance against competitors, by using tools such as NewsWhip Analytics, which provides insight into the responses to other Facebook pages’ content.

NewsWhip Analytics provides comprehensive analytics on Facebook posts, including all engagements on individual posts, their content formats, metric breakdowns and more.
